Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage is an ancient healing practice based on the traditions of Ayurveda.
During the massage, the entire body is lubricated with warm herbal oils from head to toe, selected based on your individual constitution (doshas – Vata, Pitta, or Kapha). Gentle, deep movements help harmonize energy channels, improve the circulation of prana (life force), activate lymph flow, and promote the elimination of toxins (ama). The use of a steam bath (svedana) after the massage greatly enhances the detoxifying effect.
